Andrew has worked extensively with the healing of the sexually and relationally broken. He is the founder and director of Desert Stream Ministries, a multifaceted outreach to the sexually and relationally broken. Andrew's ministry grows both out of his own struggle with homosexuality and his healing, and his experience as a husband to Annette and as a father to their four children. Andrew is the author of Pursuing Sexual Wholeness, CrossCurrent, The Kingdom of God and the Homosexual, and the Living Waters healing program. He received his Masters of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary and has been an ordained pastor in the Vineyard Christian Fellowship since 1981. Andrew has spoken interdenominational, all over the world on sexual redemption and healing for the sexually and relationally broken within the local church. Andrew's newest book, Power and Weakness was recently published by InterVarsity Press.
After 10 years of ministry in the San Francisco Bay area, Dean began working full-time with Desert Stream in 2001. His ministry to the sexually and relationally broken has come as a result of his own journey out of homosexuality. Diagnosed with the AIDS virus in 1989, Dean has seen firsthand how God is able to restore life and bring wholeness to a generation without hope. Dean's story of hope and truth has encouraged countless people both locally and internationally.
